I have worked in racing games for a long part of my career. This has allowed me to learn a lot about graphics realism and performance.

Some of my responsibilities have been:

  • Review and feedback on art.

  • Identify areas of improvement on art quality and workflow.

  • Lead by example creating benchmark assets to prove new techniques.

  • Define lighting pipelines using latest technology with programmers.

  • Integrate time of day and weather pipelines.

  • Set up of all lighting and weather conditions.

  • Create benchmark assets and materials to advance visual quality.

  • Research, development and integration of material shaders.

  • Capture, process and integration of benchmark textures.

  • Introduction of photogrammetry into the creation pipeline.

  • Investigate optimization techniques to improve performance.

  • Workflow troubleshooting, adjustment and upgrade.

I enjoy art game creation at any level, and I can quickly go from high level art direction to take part in modelling any benchmark asset when required.
